Miniature Handbag - an extra

I have bought a handmade necklace as a birthday gift for a family member and I didn't really like the plain ordinary box that it came in so.................................

I made a bag  to match the necklace.
The pattern of course is by Amanda Yeh.  I found a beautiful toning backing paper  on a Carol Ann's Studio CD and printed it out on parchment.  To the centres of the embossed flowers I added blue nailheads and crystal gems.  The spotty chiffon ribbon is from The Art of Craft.
I enjoyed making this handbag as a personal gift - and even my son was impressed.

I am also going to enter this in the Allsorts Challenge - Anything But a Card.

  1. Hi Carol,

Beautiful bag, I love the pattern you have done a wonderful piece of parchment,

  2. Hi Carol, such a lovely idea to make something special for a birthday gift. Gorgeous as always and a beautiful colour and design.
