Parchment Borders 8 & 9 and a stitch card.

Whilst I am self isolated I am crafting at quite a pace.  I am quite fit and well but sadly belong to one of the 'at risk groups' - and oldie with possible problems.   I am not going anywhere and am having no visitors so I have plenty of time.   I am not even doing much housework (except essentials) as no one is coming round to inspect.

So here are the next two border cards:

The bauble and the bell are from Pergamano Multi Grid 10 and the bow is from a Tattered Lace grid.  No beads this time but plenty of brads were used.

Now here is the stitch card - mentioned in an earlier posting.  It is a card for a fellow parcher whose birthday is on the day of our next workshop but as I won't be going I will have to post it to her.
The pattern is from Stitching Cards.  The name and number 85 were created using the stitching font that I purchased a long time ago.  I have made a couple of similar cards before - one to my fellow teamie Pamela - but I like the style so I hope Pamela doesn't mind.

Be careful and keep safe.
Hugs

More Christmas 2017

Firstly here is a new stitched wreath.   I have used white card die cut with one of my favourite dies for the stitching and the first mat.  The stitching pattern is from here.

Secondly here are two parchment cards. They have both been made using borders that I completed some time ago whilst I was still able to do concentrated parchment.  I then found images to use in the centres. This first one is an Angel from a Tattered Lace grid. I have then sewn the parchment to the card using beads..

Here is the last one. The pre-made border as before and another Tattered Lace design from one of the grids. The bow was made using a Groovi plate. This time I used red brads to fix the parchment to the backing card and then put it behind a scalloped window card. Then decorated the frame with peel off glitter.

Christmas parchment

I recently purchased 3 x parchment grids from Tattered Lace.  I particularly like grid No: 014 although they are all beautiful.
Using this grid I made a parchment poinsettia using 4 of the 5 layers provided.  The pattern makes a slightly exaggerated style of flower but I love it and enjoyed making it although it was very time consuming.  Not one to be made quickly.  I added some glitter to all the edges to give it some Christmas sparkle.
I made the base of my topper by using an outside square 'groove' from one of my many Groovi Plates and then made a border with crosses and a sun tool and drew my own inside line to complete the border.  I wanted something simple that didn't take away from the poinsettia.
The sentiment is also from a Groovi Plate   I particularly like the lettering used on this plate.
Hope you like it.

Here is a close up of the poinsettia

I like this simple style of topper and could well make it again with something else instead of a poinsettia.  On one of the other grids is a beautiful Angel I am wanting to use.
Love to hear from you.
