I haven't made very many CAS cards. My artistic leanings are towards parchment, decoupage and stitching and CAS isn't really a concept that goes with those disciplines. Despite that I have really stretched myself and produced what I think is CAS in every sense of the word.
Actually I tell a lie - once I saw the image it took me very little time and I couldn't honestly say I was stretched.
I found the image on the internet and all I could see in my mind was the sentiment that I have used. I played a bit with the image in my graphics programme and then found the blue matting layer on MCS - Country Life CD. I then added a toning green and a blue border to the edge of the topper - then the sentiment and printed it out as a topper for a 7 x 7 card.
Here it is
Ideal to send to someone who is perhaps troubled, worried or stressed.
I'll catch up with you on your Blogs. Please join in with us at CD Sunday.

CD Sunday - 6th Birthday Celebrations
In fact tomorrow - 18th April - is the actual day back in 2010 when CD Sunday was launched. The current Design Team are not the originators but we have been here for sometime. I joined in October 2010 and I am pleased to say I am still enjoying my time with the team.
Now to the celebrations. We are doing something different for this Birthday. We are asking our stalwart challengers to choose the favourite something they have made in the past for a CD Sunday Challenge and back link their entry to that something. Obviously tell us the CD used etc and also tell us why it is their favourite.
If you visit CD Sunday you will see all the prizes on offer and rules etc.
Now my choice surprised even me. Not a parchment or a stitch card but believe it or not - a CAS card
I think that this was only my second ever CAS card and it was made for Jenny's Clean and Simple challenge (here) back on 5th April 2015. I love the butterfly and the colouring combination and was generally pleased with the result. In fact I still have the card and don't really want to give it away.
So this is my own choice and I am looking forward to seeing what you have chosen and your reasons for your choice - and here are the prizes that I have contributed

CAS on Sunday
I was idly looking through the lists of challenges on offer and there are quite a few - when I spied one that wanted vellum. Up my street I thought so I abandoned my coffee and here it is:
It couldn't be more Clean and Simple. One plain white scallop card, one red die cut sentiment and three of my own parchment poinsettias. I don't enter many CAS challenges as I tend to put a bit more on my cards and it does feel strange to hold back. Meg of 'Bits and Pieces' who is joining us as a Guest Designer on CD Sunday next month - seems to have the style just right. In fact looking at her cards has been a bit of an inspiration.
I hope they like it.
