CD Sunday - Poetry Corner

Gosh - what another wet week we have.  Still no sunshine here.  At least it isn't too cold yet.
We had some wonderful entries in our Autumn theme last week and thank you.  I always enjoy my visits to your Blogs and the consequent further travels that always happen.

This week - for some reason or other - it was my choice again.  I think we had a administrative reshuffle.  Anyway - in a moment of madness -  I chose Poetry Corner.  Not an easy one I'll be the first to admit  but as I know our regulars always manage some wonderful interpretations of our themes I am looking forward to what comes.
Our teamies have chosen some great poems so please take a moment to click on the pictures and read them.

I have chosen this one:

 "Monday's child is fair of face..."
by Mother Goose

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace;
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for its living;
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay

I chose to do 7 ATC's and used MCS.
here they are.
I think a little political correctness has crept into MCS as the last line on my ATC reads:

"Is blithe and bonny, and good always."

On that note -- I'll see you on your Blogs.

p.s.  If you want to find out what day of the week you were born I have found this link

  4. What a fabulous idea Carol to do an ATC for each day. I'm a Wednesday's child but have to say that I'm feeling reasonably cheerful for a wet Sunday morning in October!

  8. What a great idea Carol, it seems that political correctness creeps in everywhere sometimes.
