but I was expecting. Have just seen the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and I have to have another op. This time to remove the plate and all the screws. The top of the humerus has collapsed and turned and this is causing the pain and movement restriction. He is going to do it asap. Could even be Wednesday if he can fit me in. In a funny sort of way it is a relief to know that there is a reason and that it will be dealt with quickly.

Sorry to hear that you've got to have another Op Carol, but as you say at least you know now the reason for the pain. Hope that he manages to fit you in soon, and recovery does not take too long.
