This is the name given to this piece of parchment work designed by Carla Prediger in the May Parchment Magazine. I have made a few tiny alterations in the pattern to my taste but most is the same as prescribed.
The flowers were drawn as part of the pattern but the leaf sprays were made using a die which I think has worked well with the parchment. The pressure of the parchment paper against the foam in the die has produced a feint impression like the surface of a leaf. I was very pleased with the result. The whole has been stitched to the card with lilac coloured holographic Gutterman thread in the corner square piercings.
This is beautiful Carol love it on the purple

Wow I'd never have known that the leaves were die cut Carol, this is gorgeous, so much work in it too. I love the colour you've put it against as well.
