Tucked away

in a box of earlier parchment work I found this.  It was one of the first serious parchment colouring projects I tried and it was  quite a while ago. I wasn't sure about it at the time  but now I have  decided that perhaps it wasn't that bad so I have backed it with some card and here it is.  It is from Pergamano's 'Around the World' book. The pens used were Pergamano felt tips.  As I don't  like using felt tips that is perhaps why I was unsure about the result.

I have no idea what the hieroglyphics mean.  I tried looking the symbols up on some sites but couldn't make any sense of them.

  1. Oh Carol - how could you not be pleased with the result? It's beautiful! I know colouring with felt tips isn't your favourite but you were too hard on yourself. I'm pleased you rescued it from the depths of your craft room.

  2. Beautiful work, you were so hard on yourself, it looks totally stunning,
No idea what the symbols are and I don't suppose there many people who do so I would not worry about it.
