A parchment mask

Debs and I had our first trip of the year down to the New Forest to Judith Maslen's workshop on Saturday.  As always we thoroughly enjoyed the day and came back tired but contented with our efforts.

As always we had two brand new patterns to work with and here is the first one completed.  I am still working on the second pattern.

Judith showed us a slightly different way of colouring which she had seen demonstrated. I was pleased with my effort on the rosebud but not so happy with the larger rose.  But let's face it - at least we weren't  using felt tips. Phew!!!

  1. This is beautiful Carole, I don't know why your not happy with the rose it looks lovely to me.

  2. Beautiful card, love the face mask pattern too hard for me, well done

  3. I really like this design and I think the roses are lovely. Seen both yours and Debs and you both did really well considering the short time you had to work on them.

  4. I just love coming to see your parchment work Carol, this is another stunningly beautiful card and I would be more than happy with that rose.

  5. This is really lovely and you should be very pleased with it. Love the colour too. Seeing your parchment work is a delight and I just wish I had your skill and patience. xx
