CD Sunday - Pearls and Swirls

I really did enjoy the making of this parchment card for this challenge.  As  I am still laid up  I am so glad that I made it when I did.
I found this lovely black and white frame on a CD  called 'Clip Art' -  produced and sold by Patsy May.  I printed it out onto an A4 sheet of 140gsm parchment placing it so that it was in the correct place when folded to A5. I embossed all the white areas to a bright white and then cut out and applied a black card swirl using my new Grand Calibur.   Black and yellow pearls, a parchment butterfly and a gold traced greeting are the only additions.  The insert paper is yellow parchment.  Then the whole is lined with white card  to give the card strength.
I am sorry that I am still not able  to write comments on your blogs but I am viewing and admiring.

  2. Your card is stunning Carol. I have a 'thing' about swirls/flourishes. The die cut you've used looks like one I have.
