CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #193 - hosted by Jocelyn

Here is my offering for this challenge which is hosted by Jocelyn:

I used a stitch pattern by Linzoos (Z61).  The central "teacup" digital image was purchased from Jolly Clip Art on Etsy and the tiny 'flowers' are a Nail Art purchase from Aliexpress.  I also managed to find some toning blue peel-offs to add some finishing touches.

I have noticed that a good variety of peel-offs seem hard to find these days. Perhaps we don't all use as many now as we used to use.  That sentence sounds a bit convoluted but I know what I was trying to say.  I do enjoy using the new to me Nail Art though.

I have now finished all the planned  birthday cards to the end of the year and have started on my Christmas cards.

This year I am making the stitched "12 Days of Christmas" cards.  I have made the set a few times now but I do love making them.  I have finished the toppers but not started on the complete cards yet as I am waiting for some ordered backing paper to arrive.  Here below is a sneeky peek at the completed topper for the "Four Calling Birds".  This one has always been my favourite. I have made the name sentiments ready to go on the cards so it shouldn't take long to make them up once I get started.

I hope all are well and I look forward to visiting many blogs.

CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #192 - hosted by Jo

For this challenge I am using a stitched pattern from a series of slightly whimsical Farm Animals from Stitching Cards.  The one I have chosen today is a Horse , who with reasons only know to himself, is carrying a flower.

Here he is:

I haven't decided yet who is going to be the recipient of this very rotund specimen.  There are six in the Farm Animals collection and I have stitched them all - some more than once.

The cockerel I stitched for Challenge #183 - shown below -  comes from the same series:

I will have another to show you soon but as it is a birthday card for someone who reads my blog I had better leave the reveal for a while.

I hope you have all been having some of the rain that we have been having here in the South.  Not a lot but enough to help.

Hugs

CD Sunday Plus - Challenge #191 - hosted by Meg

This is a digital download of an old  photograph of a rose from my garden.  I used my ACDSee Graphics programme  to change and enhance the size and colour of the flower and to then to add the border and sentiment.

I am sorry that I am late in posting my team card for this challenge and I hope to catch up with my commenting asap.

I am pleased to write that at this very moment of my writing this catch up post it has started to rain.  We need quite a bit of rain but not too much  - so here is hoping.
