CD Sunday- All sewn up

We are so pleased to welcome back Debs of Debbees Cd's as our sponsor for April.  Debs chose her CD
'Stitchin' Tails'  for the DT to use for their projects - each using a different folder.  I was pleased as this one has always been one of my favourites from the Debbees stable.  For  the prize Debs is offering the choice of any one of her CD's.
Apart from welcoming Debs we are welcoming Colleen as our Guest DT member for April and saying goodbye and thank you to Pamela for her great contribution as our GDT for March.

Here is my project using Folder 3 from Stitchin' Tales

This is an old embellishment box that I have been using to keep my cottons in for when I and my crafting ladies do Stitchcards. As it is often out on the table for the craft sessions I thought I would jazz it up.   The sewing needle charms were bought from Meiflowers stand  at Bluewater and the scissor charms from Fruit Pixie - I think. The wooden painted buttons from Ebay and the other buttons from stash.
Debs has seen this in the flesh as she was here with me last weekend and I think she would have liked it but  I was quick to tell her that it wasn't a Debbees sample.
We had lots more lovely cards last week and I look forward to more Blog travels this week.

  1. You have done a lovely new top for your box. It's a gorgeous design and well done on giving your stitching box a new lease of life.

  2. A great idea Carol! You'll have to watch that Debs otherwise she'll have this away on one of her visits LOL!

  3. Love the transformation Carol. I loved working with this CD as well. xxxx

  4. What a great idea Carol, you have certainly brightened this box up. I love those embellishments, I 'll have to look out for some at the next show I go to.

  5. The box looks really lovely, I am sure that it wouldn't just be Debbie that will be trying to take it home!! Such an original idea.

  6. What a lovely cotton box Carol, the embellishments are fabulous. Thanks for the info. I found something, just have to quickly make the card as time is running out! Michelle x
