CD Sunday - Trees and Shrubs

Good morning.  Hopefully not such a wet one as of late.  I was down at Barton- on- Sea yesterday and the drive back late afternoon was in sunshine.  At least that what I thought it was. We had  another great workshop session with Judith Maslen - but more about that later in the week when I have finished the two projects.

This week I thought I would have a go at some stamping and using my new Flexmarkers for the colouring.  When I was at the Gateshead 'Sincerely Yours' Show the other week I saw a display of Michael Powell designed stamps.  One in particular seemed to apt for this weeks theme so I bought it.  You see -  no expense spared for our CD Sunday Blog.

Here is my effort:

I did enjoy it all but decided I hadn't got enough shades of green so of course off to Cowling and Wilcox and somehow another 24 colours (not all green) arrived in the post. Ho hum!

I used MCS - Secret Hideaways -' In the garden'  for the card itself and added a few punched leaves.

We look forward to visiting your Blogs and I hope you will visit ours as well.  Please feel free to leave a comment so that we know you have visited.  All are avidly read.

  1. This is so lovely Carol. The colours all blend so well together. I have started to colour a Michael Powell stamp, phew there is so much detail in them! I also buy my pens at Cowling and Wilcox, their prices are so good! Michelle x
