Good Morning and welcome to Twist 2 of our August Challenge - Summer Days. This time we would like you to use some beach colours
Here is my creation which I hope will give an idea of what we are looking for, or perhaps even give some inspiration.
For this easel card I have used from my pack from Crafts-Too - buttons, ribbon and the
striped backing paper. The Beach Hut and shell stamps used came from the free set with
Creative Stamping (I think Issue 10). I thought the beige buttons
looked a bit like pebbles and I used the blue striped ribbon to look
like a wave. The beach huts are coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos
pencils.
I look forward to seeing more of the wonderful creations that we have been receiving.

p.s. I won't be making any comments for a while I am afraid but my fellow team members will be doing my turns for me.
Hi Carol
ReplyDeleteLovely card, I like the beach scene.
You asked me a question about putting tatting and parchment together, well I have see today's post.

I love these beach huts Carol, they bring back many memories of summers spent at Weymouth as a child, we always had a beach hut for the week we were there.

Hope everything goes well for you.
A fabulous card Carol, I love beach huts as much as I love light houses, and they always remind me of my Mum and Dad who holidayed in their later years at Swanage.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself, thinking of you.
