Teamie Jenny has chosen this theme and I for one was very pleased as I love using square cards and square matting and layering. I find them aesthetically pleasing and I think 90% of my made so far Christmas cards are all plain squares or scalloped squares.
I used this theme to make a birthday card for a friend and I used Ooh La La's latest Cd - ' The Shawn Jenkins Collection'.
I chose the pyramage section of this folder but chose to do a flat pyramage. I prefer the look when flat. This is not an easy one to do as there are many little fronds to match carefully.
Pamela - the recipient - had this sometime ago as her birthday was last month.
I am writing this on Saturday and have just come back from a visit with my Grandaughter who is 10 today. I find it difficult to grasp how quickly they grow. I delivered the homemade cake as requested and stayed just long enough to help her with her knitting. She opened some more presents whilst I was there and I had to smile as one was a 'Make a Cushion Kit' and I know that this is coming my way after Christmas. I have missed our crafting sessions whilst recovering and will be pleased to be resuming this special time with her.

I liike the look of the flat pyramage Carol and as you say it can be quite tricky getting it lined up and it is so much easier for for posting. My 5 year old Granddaughter is very keen on crafts and i do hope she continues with it as she grows.
