CD Sunday - Food Glorious Food

Our team member Wynn has chosen this unusual theme for this challenge and I must admit that the card I have made is one of my own favourites of the CD cards I have made so far this year.  I made it a little while ago, as obviously we try have to have our cards ready and presented  in plenty of time before each challenge, and I have been dying to post it to see what you think.

Here it is:
It comes from a Joanna Sheen CD - The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers - which I fell in love with as soon as I put it in the drawer.
The background, image and sentiment all come from the CD but the ribbon I found in my stash.  It had been there sometime just waiting for the right time to use and I don't think it could have been a better match if I had made it myself.
There are quite a few CD's around that have food related images and themes so we look forward to seeing lots of fabulous work - as usual.

Thank you to all those that entered  my choice of the  'Round Again' challenge and Jenny will be posting my Top 3 choice on the Challenge Blog.

Lots of you will be enjoying this glorious weather but I am afraid I am not one of them.  I prefer cooler weather. My conservatory where I do my crafting is like an oven most of the time so much less time is being spent creatively and more time  retired to the couch with a fan going full speed.

But I wish you a good week.

  1. Lovely pretty card, great image and he's certainly making a pig of himself, I must put this cd on my wish list.

  2. That little rabbit is certainly enjoying himself. The ribbon is perfect for this. Hope you are managing to stay cool. xx

  3. This little 'Happy Hopper' looks like he is enjoying his food. Super image and your ribbon is perfect.
A little cooler here today and a nice breeze wafting through the window.

  4. Glad you enjoyed making this Carol. That bunny is being a piggy methinks lol. Love the perfectly matching lucky was that.
It's another scorcher here so you wouldn't be a happy bunny living here. Mind you the Winters would suit you.....bitter at times....can't win. Hugs Wynn x

  5. He is certainly enjoying the feast Carol, love the image and ribbon is great with this. xx
