down at Barton on Sea.
Yesterday was our September visit to the New Forest for our parchment workshop with Judith Maslen. It was a beautiful sunny day and a friend drove us this time as it was too far me at the moment.
We had a lot of hard work to get through but it was fun as always. I was a very tired bunny when I got home but it was worth pushing myself. I have just managed to put the finishing touches to our two projects and here they are for your delictation.
Poinsettia Wreath. This project was practice in using mediums straight to the parchment as it is taped to the pattern i.e. no tracing. We were given the choice and instruction in using felt tips (not this lady), paints or blendable pencils. I used pencils of course as they are always my medium of choice.
Whitework Convolvulus. The only colour used here was some blue and green on the back of the image. Blendable pencils again. The space at the bottom of the image is for a sentiment - to be decided later.
Thank you Judith for another splendid day. And also thank you to Charmaine for doing the driving.

ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous creations Carol, I love Poinsettia at Christmas time. But I also love the whitework in parchment, it always looks so very elegant.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're getting out and about again.
