CD Sunday - Layer it Up

Good morning.  It really looks like Autumn outside now.  Many many leaves to be cleared away.
We had some lovely entries last week but not as many as I would have thought.  'Christmas in Pink' surprisingly was more popular.
This weeks theme - chosen by Sue - should be OK for most -   especially those that love decoupage.  Decoupage was about all I ever did before I discovered parchment and stitching.

For this theme I have chosen a Christmas card and used two CD's -  La Pashe - The Big One - and Carol Ann's Studio - CD8.

I look forward as always to much Blog hopping but if things are a bit quiet chez moi it will be because my latest purchase arrived this morning.  A new book by Kannikar Sukseree called - 'Best of the Best Parchment Craft - A classic collection - Grid Work'.  An awesome book,  and grid work has always been my favourite parchment discipline.  Many happy hours ahead.

CD Sunday - Rainy Days

A suitable theme for today as it is really wet out there.  Musn't complain though - at this time of year it could be snow.

Here is my contribution:

I  enjoyed searching for suitable images for this theme and in the end for the background and picture I chose  Joanna Sheen's  CD   - ' Faye Whittaker Collection'.  Like all challenge blogs - I am sure - we always have our themes chosen some weeks ahead so consequently one always has them in mind when shopping at shows or on line.    Just in case we see that perfect something.  I found the beautifully quilled cloud, rain drops and umbrella in the bargain bucket on a stand at the September  Sandown Show.

I would like to apologise for not having done much commenting on the wonderful 'Christmas in Pink' entries.  I thought that each one was a masterpiece.  I was struck down last Sunday with the dreaded lurgi and after a week of antibiotics am still 'proper poorly'.  I decided to look up 'dreaded lurgi' It was a phrase always used when we were children and I have included a link for your amusement.  I assure you though that mine is genuine.

CD Sunday - Christmas in Pink

What a week we have had  weatherwise.   Sunshine, hailstones, rain and frost.  Sometimes all on the same day!
Thank you for all the Beautiful Blue's last week.  This week we are having a change of colour - pink.

CD Sunday - Beautiful Blue

Good Morning everyone. It is getting a tad colder here but no snow - thank goodness.
Thank you for your entries last week in our not quite so easy theme of Poetry Corner.  I'll be choosing a winner and letting Jenny know.

This week our theme has been chosen by Christine and it is " Beautiful Blue."  I have chosen to use parchment and I printed a willow pattern download from Alan and Barry straight to parchment and then embossed where appropriate.  I then used a fancy grid to achieve the oval shape.  My CD content this week is the background paper which is a crackle blue from Ooh La La's - Shoes in Bloom. 

The mirri card behind the oval is in fact a beautiful blue but the scanner has reduced it to black

p.s.  I am glad to report that there has been a great deal of improvement in the condition of my arm and I am now so pleased to feel so much better than I have done over the last 18 weeks. To quote our family saying.  'I am much more betterer'.

CD Sunday - Poetry Corner

Gosh - what another wet week we have.  Still no sunshine here.  At least it isn't too cold yet.
We had some wonderful entries in our Autumn theme last week and thank you.  I always enjoy my visits to your Blogs and the consequent further travels that always happen.

This week - for some reason or other - it was my choice again.  I think we had a administrative reshuffle.  Anyway - in a moment of madness -  I chose Poetry Corner.  Not an easy one I'll be the first to admit  but as I know our regulars always manage some wonderful interpretations of our themes I am looking forward to what comes.
Our teamies have chosen some great poems so please take a moment to click on the pictures and read them.

Parchment rescue

I was making a special parchment card for a friends birthday and I was really pleased with the centre image.  This involved tracing with a sepia pen, embossing and then colouring with sepia to give the right aged look.
I then went on to do the border work as per the pattern but when I had finished I really didn't like it.  I was annoyed as I  had spent so long on the image.  I  didn't want to waste it all so I cut out the oval and attached it to an ATC and gave it some bronze corner peel-offs.  The hat feathers and the fur collar originally extended beyond the oval but I had to trim them.
At least I haven't wasted some of the work.

Back to the drawing board.

CD Sunday - Autumn Splendour

This weeks theme has been chosen by our teamie -  Wendy (Purple Crazy) - and I really enjoyed making my card for this one.
I found my image on Ooh La La's CD  - Carnival of Colour.  This is my next favourite CD of theirs after the 'Shoes'.  I chose to do the pyramage  and just mount it simply on gold mirri card and then a toning background.  The painting is good enough to stand on it's own.  I just added a couple of die cuts for balance. The leaf frond is one of my favorite die purchases and I cut this one  from an unused pyramage layer.

The Autumn colours do not seemed to have arrived in any quantity around here.  I haven't been doing much travelling of late as driving is still difficult so may be it just appears that way around where I live.  The oak tree leaves here are still very green.

CD Sunday - Caroline's Digis - Christmas

As it is the 1st Sunday of the month it is sponsorship time and we are so pleased that Caroline of Carolines  is sponsoring our challenge this week.  Caroline kindly sent all the team a set of her Christmas Silhouettes and we have all made our cards using them.  They are so easy to use and each folder has lots to choose from and some samples of what can be made.  I chose to follow that route and copied one of the samples but added some glitter and some corner gems.
Here is my offering - created using MCS - and I am very pleased with it and intend to use my saved copy for several of my own Christmas cards..

CD Sunday - Tea Time

Good Morning and welcome to another CD Sunday Challenge and .... thank you for all the wonderful entries for my theme choice of 'Awash with Flowers'.  I will let Jenny know my 1st, 2nd and 3rd as soon as possible.

This weeks theme should be another one with appeal as we all love our tea and there are many suitable images out there on all those CD's.  My  CD choice was a Joanna Sheen CD - Jane Shasky's  'from the heart of the garden'..  I made an easel card and used some parchment embossed with butterflies as a background for the main image.  A parchment butterfly made using a pattern from a multi grid and  teapot and teacup charms are the embellishments I used.  I will add a sentiment later.

 I look forward to some more Blog hopping.  Any comments you care to leave here are avidly read.  It is always  nice to know you have visited.

Show report

We were very busy at our stand at the Show.  We met lots of  people interested in learning to do parchment as well as those who are old hands and surprisingly quite a lot who have tried it but fallen by the wayside.
It was nice to see some familiar faces- a forum friend Rona and  fellow CD Sunday teamie Jocelyn who came to see me and we managed to sneak off for a coffee break.

I worked on several things in between chats and demonstrations and did manage to complete a project from start to finish:

This is from a pattern by Judith Maslen and making this one enabled me to demonstrate embossing (deer , lettering, sun tool and edges)  Use of a grid to make the snowflakes and then  to show how to fix the finished glittered topper to the backing sheet I sewed it on using beads.

CD Sunday - Awash with flowers

Good morning.  This is a timed posting as I am busy today at Sandown Park, Esher on the last day of the craft show.
The theme this week is my choice and I am hoping we have lots of entries from which to choose the top three.  I will be looking out for a 'little something' at the show for a prize.

For my card this time I decided to do some stamping because I saw this gorgeous stamp at The Art of Craft when I was there for a Parchment lesson - and I couldn't resist it.  Two other ladies at the lesson saw what I had bought and promptly added them to their own shopping basket.  The stamp is by Woodware.  I have coloured using Sakura pens. Added a little glitter and glaze and some flat backed pearls from stash.  The parchment/card  butterfly is from my stash made using Artylicious - Butterfly Bliss CD.
Hope you like it.  I thoroughly enjoyed  making it.

 The two ovals were cut using a Go Kreate XXL frame dies and the green card is from a Create and Craft special offer of linen look card.

Christmas ATC's

I found this cream metalwork 'distressed' card display stand whilst on a recent visit to Bristol.  I did wonder at the time how I was going to use it to effect as I wasn't sure about the birds.  But is was too good a bargain to pass by.
I really needed to use it on our Stand somehow (Christmas theme) and suddenly had a brainwave.  Make the birds into Robins.  So I roughly cut out 6 'breasts' in red card and here it is.

The photo isn't brilliant I am afraid and I am hoping it will look better when it is displayed with everything else.  A couple of the ATC's (small bauble and Robin) are a new style copied from freebie patterns here.

CD Sunday - Feline Friends

We had some really interesting and different takes on our Need for Speed theme last week.  Thank you for those.  I expect to see a bumper entry this week as a great number of you seem to love and have cats.   I don't have cats but I don't mind them.  We always had dogs at home.
Anyway here is my offering:

The image and backing paper came from Joanna Sheen's - Pamela West Cd.  I used a new die for the black embellishment and did a little decoupage.  No sentiment as yet so it is destined for my 'here is one I  made earlier'  box.

It will be my theme choice next week and I will be at the Show on  the 23rd so I hope to find a little  something 'different'  for the winner.

Angels for the tree - part 2

I have now finished 6 for the Show and here they are.  They have loops on them ready to hang from the display stand.  I will have some prepared to finish off whilst the Show is going on -  in the best Blue Peter tradition.

Talking of Blue Peter - I bought a sheet of sticky backed holographic gold glitter from The Art of Craft and it is proving perfect for the halos.  I only found it in time to do the last couple but it is a good tip for any one wishing to make halos.

Peacock - pattern by Judith Maslen

I bought this pattern when I went down to the workshop on Saturday and made it this morning. This is a simple one that could easily be created by a beginner.  I  chose what I thought was a turquoise colour for the feathers around the body but after I had used the pen I realised it was too green.  Needless to say it was a felt tip I used.  I should have stuck to my principles but I thought that it would be OK as it was just a tiny bit to be coloured.  If I had used my pencils I could have rubbed it out.  So I then had trouble finding gems to match and ended up using little nailheads which are almost right.
The original pattern is in a series that Judith has designed all suggested by Pub signs.  I changed it slightly by leaving off the gold crown and the gold pen work.

A days shopping tomorrow with girlfriends and then back to making Angels.

More Workshop Wonders

down at Barton on Sea.
Yesterday was our September visit to the New Forest for our parchment workshop with Judith Maslen.  It was a beautiful sunny day and a friend drove us this time as it was too far me at the moment.
We had a lot of hard work to get through but it was fun as always. I was a very tired bunny when I got home but it was worth pushing myself.  I have just managed to put the finishing touches to our two projects and here they are for your delictation.

Poinsettia Wreath.  This project was practice in using mediums straight to the parchment as it is taped to the pattern i.e. no tracing.  We were given the choice and instruction in using felt tips (not this lady), paints or blendable pencils.  I used pencils of course as they are always my medium of choice.

Whitework Convolvulus.  The only colour used here was some blue and green on the back of the image.  Blendable pencils again.  The space at the bottom of the image is for a sentiment - to be decided later.

CD Sunday - Need for Speed

It's that time again.  We had some great entries last week  and I wish everyone good luck in the draw.  You will enjoy using your prize whichever CD you choose.

For the theme this week  I have used two CD's.  First an old favourite and standby - Robert Addams - Vintage Transport -  for the background and the image, which has one layer of decoupage -  and Rachelle Anne Miller for the sentiment.

An update on my arm:  I have now driven twice but only very short journeys.  I have been restricted to local journey's only - like Sainsbury's and the physio.  I can drive quite safely but still get tired.  But Oh - the joys of being mobile again.

Angels for the tree

I have made enough snowflakes for now.  I will be making more during the Show so I thought I would show you the first two Angels I have made:

The stencil and the pictures for the faces come from Pergamano.  Using the stencil you can make several layers using different coloured parchment as I have done on the first one.  Multi grids can be used for embossing patterns and then as many gems as you like or can spare.

CD Sunday - Allsorts - Funky Hands Sponsorship

I can't believe that it is already September. This month we welcome Anice of Funky Hand as our sponsor - and we also welcome Kevin as our Guest Designer for this month. I know you will love his cards and on a personal level I look forward to seeing his inspirational work on our Blog.

Anice kindly sent us a CD each to play with and mine was 'Craft the year Away'.  I loved the papers and enjoyed using the word book facility.  I made an early birthday card for my Grandaughter.  I had to hide it when she came round last Wednesday and just hope I can find it again in time for her birthday in November.

Snow comes early to the South

Here are some parchment snowflakes that I have been making.  They are from patterns by Tina Cox - and are for our Christmas Theme at the Sandown Show.  I have had to make a pro-forma for them as it is so easy to put a hole in the wrong place.  Best to take the time to do a perfect one and then use that as a stencil.  There are many occasions when you can do that with parchment.  We all have favourite borders and motifs and it is useful and quicker to keep the patterns to be used over and over again.

CD Sunday - Game On

This weeks theme - chosen by Jocelyn -  gives another reason  to make a man's card.  And lets face it we do sometimes need a little nudge to get those made.

Here is my effort which will be for my eldest son - in due course.  You can guess what his game is!

The image is from 'Stitching Cards' and the background from MCS - World of Watercolour.  I love doing stitching cards as the finished result always looks so much better than the printed pattern.  It comes to life whilst you are stitching.  I rubbed some ink around the edge of the white card to tone it down a bit.  Added a gingham bow and a couple of my golfing charms and finished with a  coloured  peel off sentiment.

Now my apologies for my lack of comments on last weeks great entries.  I was away for part of the week and a bit sore and sorry for myself  when I got back.  I promise to do better.

CD Sunday - Cute Christmas with Elegant Inspiration

Elegant Inspiration have kindly given us an extra Cd as a prize so we thought we would all make a card from it just  to show what is possible.
Now I used my arm as an excuse and chose one of the 'ready cards' so that I didn't have to do too much work.  I printed it out twice - once on card and then again on good quality paper so that I could do a little decoupage.  I then added white flower soft to Mole's jacket and hat and Sakura Glaze to the baubles on the tree.
I found the pretty little quilled Christmas tree in my box of embellishments.

When this timed posting hits my blog I will be having some very welcome R & R with my sister so I will see you later in the week. Physio is still pleased with progress and I can at last touch the top of my head with the fingers on my injured arm.  Believe me this is major. At one time I thought I would never be able to that again.

Wreath of Flowers

This is the title given to this parchment project I found in a book I was given.  A friend of a friend of mine had given up parchment and was giving away all her bits and pieces and I gave a book a new home.  It is by Pergamano  and just called 'Parchment Craft'. In fact this project is featured on the front cover of the book.

In the book the wreath does not have anything in the centre but I decided it needed a butterfly which was made using Pergamano Grid No: 17'
It feels so good to be back doing some parchment.  Hopefully I will now be able to resume my classes and workshops.

CD Sunday - Exotic Birds and Blooms

This is the first of my DT cards for CD Sunday that I have had to make since I broke my arm.  I printed out an image from Japanese Papers - pattern source book Nature 2 CD - directly to parchment. Working one handed on parchment isn't too difficult.   I embossed where appropriate and then stitched to the background using toning beads.  The flowers were some I had in my stash.  I am never sure about red and pink together but I think it works on this occasion.

I was so pleased to be crafting again that I made some ATC's on the same theme using the same CD.

CD Sunday - Bingo

You will be forgiven for wondering what this title means.  I was puzzled when it appeared on our list of upcoming themes but of course it is obvious when explained - like most things.

The best way to explain is with a couple of pictures.

So you choose three elements to use as well as something from a CD.  I chose Die cuts, Flowers and Buttons and my Cd was Ooh La La - Shoes in Bloom  - for the butterflies.

I must say a thank you to Claire for some gorgeous cards as our Guest DT member for July and we now welcome Michelle as our guest for August.  Michelle makes some fabulous cards so I am excited to see what she makes for us.

My arm is improving all the time and my physio is pleased with my progress.  I must say though that the die cuts I used were from 'some I made earlier'.  Bit scared of the Calibur at the moment.

New species of butterfly?

An early morning visitor to my garden today?
A pattern by Josie Davidson in the June Parchment Magazine.  I started this at our parchment workshop on Wednesday and finished it last evening.  This is a very simple pattern that would suit a beginner.  There is only one special tool used - a PCA quin - and that need not be necessary. Some other decorative tool  could be used such as a star/sun  tool.  It was good to get back to some parchment.  I can't cope yet with many of the basic card making disciplines like die cutting and using a guillotine.

CD Sunday - Mainly Men

I had such fun with this one that I wonder if it is a bit over the top.  I love Steampunk but strive for a slighter softer side hence putting a Steampunk style flower on a  manly card.  Nothing to say a man can't like flowers.
I used MCS - Tinkering with Steampunk - which is just what I have been doing.  This is the last of  my 'ones I made earlier' so I am hoping my arm will be recovered enough to manage one for next week.  I am making quite rapid progress but finding it hard to come to terms with the lack of muscle power.  Caused by the fact that they had to move them etc to get at the bone to plate.

CD Sunday - 'A' is for............. Artist

Good Morning everyone.  I am making good progress and now able to do some typing albeit it in short bursts.  But at least I can now get back to some commenting on the Challenge Blog entries and feel that I am taking part again.

'A' is for..... is our theme this week and all the team have chosen something different.  All without planning I must point out.  For my own 'A' is for Artist I decided to do some stamping.  I think it is a Penny Black stamp  but I am not 100% sure. I coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and then mounted and matted on to a most appropriate background paper from Messy Rabbit Cd by Joanna Sheen.  Not sure where the sentiment comes from either - put it down to my fragile condition.
Here is my offering - and I thoroughly enjoyed the making:

I will have been to see the Consultant for the first time since the op by the time this is posted and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good report and being told it is healing well.
Physiotherapy will be the next stage and the sooner the better.  I need to get back to crafting.  TV and Jigsaws are proving  tedius.  Also I am running out of 'here's one I made earlier', and money - cos I can still shop with one arm.

Addendum.  The Hospital made a mistake on my card  and my appt is next Wednesday not yesterday.

CD Sunday - Pearls and Swirls

I really did enjoy the making of this parchment card for this challenge.  As  I am still laid up  I am so glad that I made it when I did.
I found this lovely black and white frame on a CD  called 'Clip Art' -  produced and sold by Patsy May.  I printed it out onto an A4 sheet of 140gsm parchment placing it so that it was in the correct place when folded to A5. I embossed all the white areas to a bright white and then cut out and applied a black card swirl using my new Grand Calibur.   Black and yellow pearls, a parchment butterfly and a gold traced greeting are the only additions.  The insert paper is yellow parchment.  Then the whole is lined with white card  to give the card strength.

CD Sunday - Best of British

CD Sunday - Jenny's Sketch

As this is a timed post I am not sure how Jenny is going to title this challenge.  Sketch was her choice for this week and this is how we have referred to it on our Admin Blog so I will have a 50/50 chance of getting it right or wrong.

I haven't done many 'sketch' type cards.  In fact my very first one was an early entry into CD Sunday challenges before I was kindly invited to join them.
Anyway here is my 'take' on 'Jenny's Sketch'

I used 'A little bit of folk' from MCS 3rd Anniversary bundle.  I did actually buy some lace ribbon especially for this card as I haven't a die or punch that would achieve the zig zag edge.  I am pleased with the result and it will be an addition to my 'here's one I made earlier' box.

The reason for the timed posting this week is a very early start to tomorrow for myself and Debs (who at this moment is winging her way to my house)  and another friend - for our drive to Bristol.  We are leaving at 6.30am.  I am looking forward to the day.  It is a wonderful chance to meet and greet so many talented 'parchers' from all over the place.

I'll catch up with everything when I get back - a tired but happy bunny.

no tired and happy bunny i am afraid.  we were loading the car last night ready for this morning when i tripped over the threshold went smashing down onto a wood floor and broke my left arm.  finally got home from casualty about 0.15am  can't describe the pain.

Back to parchment

I felt the need to do some 'proper' parchment.  The sort of project that needs quiet and concentration and practice of various techniques.  This pattern involves colouring with Faber Castell  polychromos pencils and white work embossing.

The pattern - Semi Circle of flowers -  is by Kay James and is in the Parchment Craft Magazine - Summer Special

Here it is

Kay's pattern has a second parchment lining (a little larger)  with a repeat of the edge pricking and embossing pattern but I omitted this and just used a dark purple card liner.  The semi circular embossed and pricked feature uses a Pergamano Moon tool and the card edge uses a Pergamano Wing tool.  Both are recent additions to my tool stash.
I enjoyed making this and I hope you like it.

Now - on Sunday - down in Bristol -  is the  Bristol Parchment Craft Exhibition .  A wonderful extravaganza of all things parchment and yours truly will be there.
This year instead of just being a shopper I will be running a stand.  I am going as representative for Judith Maslen  and will be showing and selling her wonderful patterns.  Judith can't make it this year so I am thrilled to be doing it for her.  If you come down please come and say Hi.  Stand 17/18.  My great friend Debs and Tina Cox will be next door on 19/20.

CD Sunday - Delicious Damask

A timed posting for me this week as I have a busy few days ahead.  I am attending a jewellery making workshop on Saturday.  I have decided that I really ought to learn properly how to use all these beautiful glass and crystal beads I keep buying. Then on Sunday I have a workshop here and then off to visit my daughter.
Back to matters in hand.  We have seen some  beautiful Ballerinas and I  know it will be a difficult Top 3 choice for me but I will let Jenny know at the beginning of the week my choices and will have a small gift for the winner.

This week we have Christine's choice - Delicious Damask.  Damask is always a popular theme so I am sure that Christine will find it equally hard to choose her Top 3.

Here is my card.  I have used some parchment.  I felt I haven't been using enough  parchment in my CD Sunday cards lately.

I used Artylicious 'Damask Delights' and 'Butterfly Bliss CD's'.  For the parchment oval I used parchment printed using the CD and a multi grid for the shape. The damask oval in card  was cut using one of my new dies. and the parchment  butterfly was made using another multi grid -with  added pink pearls for the body.  The swirl - yet another new die with a little glitter added for pizzazz .
The card has already gone to a parchment workshop friend.

CD Sunday - Beautiful Ballerinas

I loved visiting all the Blogs last week.   Some very different and beautiful shades of green were used in the making of many fabulous cards.

Now the theme for this week is my choice.  Beautiful Ballerinas.  I didn't choose the theme because I ever 'did ballet'.  So far away was I  from managing anything so elegant and graceful when I was a child that my nickname was 'the tank.'  According to my Mother  I never went around anything -  either over, under or through it.

The bp and the image are from  'Dancing with Shadows' - Joanna Sheen.   I used one of my new dies for the frame and the big floppy flowers are from 'stash'.

I enjoyed making it and hope you like it too.
I will have a little something for the winner of the Top 3 and I look forward to having a difficult choice to make.

Oodles of Doodles

Not my title but the name of some new  (to me)  stamps by Hobby Art Ltd that I found at The Art of Craft on Wednesday.  I was there for our monthly Parchment workshop and of course I went shopping.
I love doodles and Zentangles so I was pleased to find these.  I had a great deal of fun making some ATC's with the flowers etc made using the stamps.  They were stamped on some fabulous Tim Holtz papers from his 'idea-ology' pad of 12 x 12 papers.  I added sequins, beads and  wood cut-outs etc all from my stash and just let my imagination run away.
There are a couple of parchment ones in the last photo - made at the workshop - so I did do some work.

CD Sunday - Gorgeous Green

Be ready to be green with envy at all the different shades we have chosen this week and also to welcome our two new team members.
First please welcome Beryl and Cazro.   We are delighted that they are now part of the CD Sunday team (it also means that Jocelyn and I are no longer the newbies).  Both Beryl and Caz make wonderful cards and I am sure they would appreciate a visit from you all.

Now my shades of green are a tad bright.  I think it probably glows in the dark.  Anyway here it is - my first 2012 Christmas card.

We have always said at CD Sunday that as long as something from a CD is used somewhere in the making of your card it is eligible for our Blog and competitions.
Well here is the living proof of that as my only  CD contribution on this card is the sentiment which comes from Rachelle Anne Miller Collection.  It was whilst trying to print this out that I discovered that my printer had died colourwise and I had to spend out on a new one.

CD Sunday- Old MacDonald had a farm

Good morning.  Now no-one can say that we are run of the mill at CD Sunday with our themes.  I bet you didn't see this one coming.  I didn't  - but  I enjoyed it because I really had to think about it so..............
I came up with some ATC's.  I always need plenty for the two swop clubs I belong to so here they are:

I used Joanna Sheen's - Messy Rabbit CD - for the ATC backgounds and Woodware 'Peeking Over' clear stamps.  Coloured using Flexmarkers. I bought these stamps a long time ago and this is their first outing.  I hope you can see the 'Oink Oink' and the 'Moo Moo' etc
I really am looking forward to what everyone manages to do with this theme.  We always have such great entries.

More - 'New ATC's.

My printer died yesterday.  Well not actually died but may as well have done.  New one on it's way as I type but in the meantime I had to do something so back to the ATC's.  I had bought some new stamps by PaperArtsy  from The Fruit Pixie.  I have not bought their stamps before but I do like them.  What I particularly liked were the two Steampunk flower heads which I have used on these ATC's.  I used a paper from Carol Ann's Studio for the background. The birdcage was also one of the stamps.  I may well visit PaperArtsy and have a  browse.
The Iris ATC was inspired whilst I watched the BBC programme of The Chelsea Flower Show.  There seemed to be so many gorgeous Irises I felt inspired to get out a stitch pattern I knew I had. Just the perfect size.

CD SUNDAY - Easy Elegance

We had some beautiful 'Reflections' last week - thank you.  It is going to be difficult for Jenny to choose a winner.

I went back to Joanna Sheen's - 'Fashion Boutique'for my card this week.  I chose one of the Paper Dolls and a toning background paper. 

The flower is from my stash and I coloured the peel off sentiment to tone with the blue mirri card.

I look forward to lots more Blog hopping.  It does get expensive though as I keep finding shopping sites that I haven't seen before - and of course it would be rude not to visit.
